Young Equestrian Summer Riding Camps

A little horse crazy?

Then Pleasant Ridge Farm Horse Camp is for you!

Come learn about everything horse related with experienced equestrians who are excited to share their knowledge. Each child will learn all aspects of horse care from grooming and barn management to tacking up, safety, basic equitation,  veterinary care and more!  Improve your riding skills with your friends and make new friends with the same love of horses!  Each child is assigned a horse for the week, this includes feeding, stall cleaning and caring for that animal daily. Daily activities include horse related games such as breed scavenger hunts, tack knowledge relay races, "vet" day where students are given various scenarios to address,  horse anatomy contests, bareback riding, craft projects and more!  All campers receive a PRF summer camp "book" outlining all the things they learned during the week. The last day of camp, students will perform in a camp horse show. Parents, friends and family are all welcome to attend. Real printed ribbons and awards will be given.

What sets our camps apart?

We emphasize safety first! Clean, professional facilities. Experienced, ARIA Certified instructors (American Riding Instructors Association). Safe, well schooled lesson horses. Our camps are fun but educational!  Children make memories of a lifetime but also come away more knowledgable horsemen/woman!
