PRF is proud and excited to be the Poconos only official Pony Club Center.
Pony Club is the largest equestrian educational organization in the world. This is where it all begins! The cornerstones of our foundation are education, safety, sportsmanship, stewardship and FUN. Members learn riding and the care of horses through mounted sports. The skills, habits and values instilled through horsemanship will apply to every part of a member’s life.

PRPC Big Rider, Little Rider Program
For PRPC members who are signed up (or are signing up) for the new season, please consider being a part of the Bigs and Littles. More experienced riders will have a special partnership with one or two of the less experienced riders. The purpose of this is to make a connection between the younger riders and older riders. This helps the riders make special connections and bridge the gap between ages and levels.
● Bigs can help their Littles answer questions they may have about riding, horse management, sportsmanship, etc.
● If comfortable, the Big can have the Little help with activities like cleaning their horse’s stall, etc.
● When a Big has an important test, rating, or event, their Little is their personal cheerleader! The Little can make a card/sign/etc. for the rider (and their horse). The same goes with the Big doing this for the Little.
● This does not have to cost money. This is a fun, simple way to encourage and support one another.
● If interested in being a Big Rider or Little Rider, please let Katie Lesoine or Jess Lehman know (message them on FB or let them know when you see one of them at the barn) by NOVEMBER 30th.
● If the clubber, whether a Big or Little, already has a special connection with a particular rider, please let us know that as well.
● This is open to ALL 2020-2021 PRPC members! See the attached flyer. We are taking names NOW! We want every rider to be partnered with someone else!
